Community Involvement

On June 5th, the Health Sciences Centre Foundation presented the first annual HOPE Classic Golf Tournament. 

All funds raised at the HSC Foundation HOPE Classic went to the Health Sciences Centre Foundation in support of The Kleysen Centre for Surgical Innovation in the new Siemens Institute for Advanced Medicine currently under construction. The Kleysen Centre’s surgical research theatres will be used to develop and test experimental procedures and equipment, as well as for education and training. Perfecting the latest surgical techniques and training new surgeons will ultimately lead to better patient care.

Audis Canada presents the Dr. Goodbear Golf Classic

For over 20 years people have been coming together with Dr. Goodbear in support of the Children's Hospital Foundation for a day of golf, good times and friendship.  This on-going event has raised more than one million dollars and has become an important part of the Children's Hospital Foundation's fundraising efforts. Audis Canada was proud to be the title sponsor for the 5th year in a row.
